On the 22nd March, 2016, the Space Team had the opportunity to visit one of our long-standing sponsors RUAG. Members of the Space Team gained some insight into the activities of RUAG Space, a group within RUAG Technologies. RUAG Space has amassed an immense amount of experience through dozens of Satellite missions with the highest quality requirements.
After a very informative presentation we had a guided tour of their electronics laboratory and clean room in Vienna. Here we got to see and learn about some of the challenging manufacturing techniques and processes for satellite hardware.
