For the fourth time the TU Wien Space Team has held their annual project presentation for sponsors, partners, and interested students. This year, the event took place in the Vienna Museum of Technology, where our Lunar Landing Module 1 (LLM1) has been recently added to the exhibition. We were happy to welcome the former “Science Buster” and director of the Planetarium Vienna, Werner Gruber.
We welcomed 160 visitors into the Banquet Hall of the Museum of Technology, who listened to the presentations of Werner Gruber, Jürgen Brandner (PT Scientists), and the presentations of the Space Team members. We were also happy to welcome our special guests: the only Austrian astronaut DI Franz Viehböck, Prof. Anton Friedl and colleagues (Institute of Chemical, Environmental & Biological Engineering), Prof. Thomas Angeli (Institute for Engineering Design and Logistics Engineering), Mrs. Michaela Gitsch and Doris Wach from the FFG, Mag. Monika Fischer from ÖWF, Michael Taraba and colleagues (Space Tech Group), and all other sponsors that were at our event.
We would like to thank everyone who participated! A big thank you goes to Dr. Martina Griesser-Stermscheg, Dr. Christian Klösch and colleagues of the Museum of Technology for their help with organizing the event.
Last but not least thank you to the FFG for the financial support!
